The Durham Record
This information is the result of over ten years work. It takes its name from the original Durham Record, which was the first of a series of projects to give digital access to heritage resources. The resulting web pages now give access to a range of resources to people around the world, that were previously only accessible by visiting specific museums, libraries and archives around County Durham.
The new Durham Record aims to provide access to all the heritage related images that are currently part of a number of different websites. Hopefully this makes it easier to start to search and may well lead people into other websites for related resources.
Please Note: By entering the 'Durham record' you are agreeing to comply with copyright licensing regulations associated with this collection of digital images. The regulations state that your use of any image is for personal use only, and that you will not copy, publish or distribute the image in any way.
Many of the images contained within the Durham Record are also part of individual thematic websites giving access to a range of other types of material:
Keys to The Past
Archaeology of Durham and Northumberland is available via the
Keys to the Past website which houses information about thousands of sites of importance, images, maps and a huge resource of contextual information.

DLI Medal Collection on the DLI website, the web pages show biographies, citations and locations of medals in the actual exhibition in the museum.
